You may encounter playback issues on your Q device from time to time
This can sometimes be due to a limitation of type of builds that are provided to partners. These are different to production builds in that we enable them to boot & run without the need for a satellite feed.
These are known as 'NTP' builds.
They have known to lose DRM on occasions, and require a Full System Reset to regain DRM playback.
We are working to fix this limitation
If you suspect you have this issue, please follow these steps
- Re-pair the viewing card (can sometimes be the cause of loss of DRM) (see associated article)
- Run a Full System Reset (see associated article)
- If this fails, please contact your Sky Delivery Manager.
